ASSISTANCE FOR INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS
Like its counterparts in other states TTA exists to serve the different needs of its members, for example: –
If you have an issue with a government agency, we will take up your case with the authorities and try to fix the problem.
If you have a problem without an obvious solution – but you would like to air your concerns, we may be able to point you in a new direction.
If you have a complaint about another operator or a union, we will endeavour to find a compromise.
If you are trying to innovate, to introduce a new technology or simply to change the way you have done things in the past; we can help.
If you want your interests pursued with state, federal or local governments; or
if you simply want to ensure that transport’s contribution to our economy is recognised, you should join the TTA.
Our news bulletin, Transport Matters, keeps members in touch with current transport issues. It is emailed to members. It is not large and it does not take long to read, but it does convey important messages to operators and others.
Transport Matters provides members with up to the minute information on coming events as they come available, local and national transport topics together with news items of particular relevance to those in the transport industry.
Workshops and Seminars
TTA arranges seminars and workshops for the benefit of members and the transport industry. Sessions vary from half-day lectures to fully-fledged courses for executives and managers. Members receive priority notice about forthcoming events and may enjoy discounts on registration or enrolment fees.
