The Tasmanian Transport Association represents our members on a variety of state and national industry committees.

Current committees include:

The Australian Road Transport Industry Organisation

The Australian Road Transport Industrial Organisation (ARTIO) is an Industrial Organisation of Employers registered under the Workplace Relations Act 1996. It represents employers and prime contractors in the transport and logistics industry, particularly those engaged in road transport.

National Transport Commission (NTC)

The NTC is an independent statutory body that contributes to the achievement of national transport policy objectives by developing regulatory and operational reform of road, rail and intermodal transport.

Road Safety Advisory Council –

The Road Safety Advisory Council (RSAC) oversees advertising campaigns, makes recommendations to Government about road safety policy, community, school-based and public education programs, and expenditure of the road safety levy. The Council meets quarterly and its work is guided by the Tasmanian Road Safety Strategy 2007-2016.

Tasmanian Transport and Logistics Workforce Advisory Group (TTLWAG)

Under the stewardship of the Tasmanian Transport Association, and with critical support from the Transport and Logistics Industry Skills Council (TLISC), the Tasmanian Transport and Logistics Workforce Advisory Group (TTLWAG) has taken up the work associated with workforce planning and skills development.

We're not around right now. But you can send us an email and we'll get back to you, asap.
